Tongues of hills that change color during the seasons, in the center of the painting called Langhe, framed by the mountains and a unique and wonderful panorama.
Going on towards Monforte d’Alba the street made his way through perfect vineyards that gives the precious wine. Monforte is there, resting on a hill where the culture of the vineyard and good food has become an irresistible attraction for tourists and lovers of good cuisine.
Osteria La Salita is in the heart of the town, where you go up to a historic center where time seems to have stopped.
Visitors can admire the history of Monforte in the Oratory Church of St. Elizabeth, in the Church of Sant’Agostino e San Bonifacio, in the Scarampi Palace, in the past home of the Marquises del Carretto and they can be carried away by the sovereing music in the natural amphiteater, the Horszowski Auditorium, home to important concerts such as the Monfortinjazz Festival.
Since 2014 Langhe hills become a UNESCO World Heritage Site and as always they offer great emotions, different in every season of the year.
